A Spanish style villa, with Country Modern interiors, outfitted with the latest in building automation and security systems. The villa is located in District 9, Jumeirah Village Triangle. This 2 storey villa built on a 7,000 sqft plot, features 24 cameras, fully automated lighting and blinds, 10G network and WiFi, and AI enabled security systems with facial recognition, license plate recognition, and motion detection.

The Challenge

The homeowners sought a modern smart home capable of seamlessly adapting to their family's routines without complex programming or frequent manual adjustments. They needed control from mobile phones or any location within the home and required a system to see who is at the door and unlock the gate using phones or watches, eliminating the need to load cameras. Additionally, since JVT is not a gated community, the homeowners desired comprehensive visibility of every corner of the house.

Our Solution

A hybrid automation solution integrates smart cameras with local storage, all managed via dashboards distributed throughout the house.

Results & Impact

As a result of the implementation, the family can now easily identify drivers at the door, thanks to the cameras that display their uniform logos. Additionally, several routines have been automated. For instance, the staircase lights activate only when someone is climbing the stairs, ensuring they aren't left on all the time. The landscaping lights turn on at sunset and automatically switch off at bedtime. Other features include gym detection that activates the air control and adjusts the temperature in that area.

Energy usage monitoring - This feature enables users to quickly assess the energy utilization of each air conditioning unit and identify which device consumes the most energy throughout the house. It clearly highlights where energy consumption is highest.

Curtains and blinds that open and close based on presence or sunset.
