Question 1

Do I receive the ETS project file and the logins at handover?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For every system we install or take over, you receive at handover the ETS project file with its password, the KNX Secure keys where the project uses them, and the administrator logins for your devices, network and Haus Logic dashboard, with a backup of the dashboard. Any qualified KNX integrator can maintain or extend the system with them. The designs and programming remain the intellectual property of Haus Logic, and you hold a lasting licence to use, change and maintain your installation. From handover you hold these files and credentials: we are not responsible for changes made by others, and our 12-month warranty covers our own original work.

Question 2

How much does automation cost in the UAE?

Accepted Answer

Investment depends on property size, the number of integrated systems, and whether it's a new build, fit-out, or retrofit. Our KNX and Haus Logic dashboard approach is suited to clients seeking properly engineered automation across most of the property. After an initial consultation and site review, we provide a detailed design proposal with clear costing for the UAE market.

Question 3

Why choose wired automation over wireless?

Accepted Answer

Wired KNX systems offer reliability that wireless alternatives cannot match in the UAE environment. There's no interference from thick walls or neighbouring networks, no battery replacements, and no dependency on internet connectivity or cloud services. Wired infrastructure also has a proven lifespan measured in decades, making it the foundation of choice for luxury residences and commercial properties where long-term value matters.

Question 4

What types of projects do you take on?

Accepted Answer

We specialise in complete building automation for villas, apartments, and commercial spaces across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Our KNX and Haus Logic dashboard approach is designed for projects where lighting, climate, blinds, security, networking, and energy need to work together as an integrated system. We focus on properties that benefit from wired infrastructure and professional-grade reliability rather than single-room or gadget-only installations.

Question 5

How do you handle support and maintenance?

Accepted Answer

Every project includes a warranty period and structured handover with documentation. For ongoing support, we offer remote diagnostics and annual maintenance contracts. Because our systems run locally on dedicated hardware, most issues can be diagnosed and resolved without repeated site visits across the UAE.

Question 6

How long does a typical project take?

Accepted Answer

For new builds and major renovations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, we align with the construction programme: early design coordination, pre-wiring during fit-out, then commissioning near handover. For existing properties, upgrades can be phased over weeks, while comprehensive retrofits are planned alongside other renovation works to minimise disruption.
