Complete KNX automation for a private villa in Dubai, featuring Zennio Z50 room controllers, Gira HomeServer visualisation, and intelligent presence-based control throughout. The system integrates lighting, climate, and blinds with automated scenes that adapt to occupancy.
The Challenge
The homeowner wanted reliable, wired automation that would operate locally without cloud dependencies. The system needed to be intuitive for daily use while offering sophisticated presence-based automation, lights and climate that respond intelligently to occupancy without manual intervention.
Our Solution
Deployed a 46-device KNX system with Zennio Z50 touch panels in key rooms for elegant scene control. Integrated PIR motion sensors throughout for presence detection, automatically adjusting lighting and climate based on room occupancy. Gira HomeServer provides the visualisation layer with browser and app access, while maintaining full local control even if the network goes down. Motorized blinds integrate with the lighting scenes for cohesive ambiance control.
