Complete KNX automation retrofit for a prestigious Georgian events venue in London's West End. Replaced legacy systems with advanced lighting control featuring DALI, tuneable white, RGBW, smart film, and complex room-splitting logic. Integrated with Crestron AV, deployed UniFi networking and Mobotix CCTV throughout, and upgraded infrastructure with Cat6A cabling.
The Challenge
A prestigious Georgian townhouse operating as a multi-room events venue required replacement of ageing control systems. The venue needed sophisticated room-splitting logic so spaces like the Burdett Suite, Orangery, Edwards Room, Maxwell Room, and Green House could operate independently or combined, with keypads automatically adapting to the configuration.
Our Solution
Implemented comprehensive KNX automation across all event spaces, replacing legacy systems with modern DALI-controlled lighting including tuneable white for adaptable colour temperatures and RGBW for feature lighting. Programmed complex logic for room partitioning, keypads intelligently display relevant controls based on whether rooms are split or combined. Integrated smart film for privacy glass, drop-down projectors, and full Crestron AV control.
